“ I will seek him, Whom my heart loves .” Song of Songs 3:2

Love can never be completely satisfied .  Love in a sense is restless, because love cannot rest until all is well with the one loved.  Love always seeks the good of the other. Love by its very nature must be expressed.
These beautiful words are from One Bread, One Body.

This is the way Mary Magdalene loved Jesus, whether as He was dying the gruesome death of a criminal or in His glorious resurrection .  This also reflects the way Jesus loves us.  We may be spiritually dead, but Jesus never stops loving us.  If we but loved him as much as Mary Magdalene did, he will find us and change our hearts.

We should follow the example of Mary Magdalene, why ?  Because he will always love you.  Because he will never leave you. And because his plans for you are greater than anything you could ever imagine for yourself.  Someday you will meet him face-to-face.  He will call you by name, and you will recognize him, just as Mary did.
