Today is the Feast Day of St. Mark one of the four evangelist to write the Gospel for us. The Church offers is saints like St. Mark not only as intercessors for us but also as role models.

Like Mark, we have heard the good news.  Like him, we know that Jesus expects us to share what we have heard or read.  That might seem difficult to some.  We often worry about saying the wrong thing, worry about sounding preachy or just the busy pace of life that often  gets in the way.

We now have the opportunity during the Coronavirus to reflect on how we have done in making him known.  For most of us, unless we are healthcare workers, first responders, or workers in a critical business,  the pace is a lot slower.  Let’s use this time to reflect on how we have evangelized in the past.  Let us use this time to think if there is someone who could use a word of encouragement right now.
Don’t wait !! Call them today !!
