The conversion of Paul has all the elements of a dramatic Hollywood movie.  You have the villain suddenly stopped in his tracks by a light from the sky. A voice comes from heaven and this villain undergoes an amazing transformation and embarks on a whole new adventure.

What about your conversion story. More than likely it wasn’t so dramatic, although mine was pretty dramatic at my Cursillo.  No matter how it happened, God got through to you somehow.  How we came to the Lord is not as important than the fact we DID come to him.  He loves each one of us passionately.  To him every conversion story is powerful.

Remember too that God’s plan does not begin and end with a dramatic conversion.  It took Paul ten years before he was ready to go on his first missionary journey.  He had his fair share of ups and downs.  He knew he had to walk with Jesus every day if he was going to become the person God wanted him to be.   And so do we !!

Do not let this pandemic keep you from God or get down on yourself. Today try to draw closer to Jesus. Rededicate your life to him !!  Like Paul we all have ups and downs. Have hope in the Risen Lord !!
