Today is a day of sorrow and expectation. It’s also a day of excitement for those in the RCIA who will enter our Catholic faith tonight at the Easter Vigil. I just returned home from rehearsal with them and I can feel their joy.
It’s also a joy as we begin to go back into our church. It will be so nice not only to celebrate the Easter Vigil once again, but also to be back into the church for this ceremony. It has been a long journey through the desert of Covid-19.
So as we prepare today to celebrate the Lord’s resurrection, I need to ask myself, “Does the resurrection really make a difference to me ? Do I need to correct something that needs changing to show that I believe in the resurrection will all my heart ?” Now is the time ! Tomorrow we will see his glory !
