Happy Valentine’s Day !! 💕❤

Today is also World Marriage Sunday. It is a day when we celebrate the gift of married love and the gift of God’s unconditional love for us. It’s the kind of love we need to bring into our marriages, our family, and into our world. St. Paul reminds us today to avoid giving offense but do everything for the glory of God.

We need to bring that positive attitude to whomever we meet and wherever we choose to go. Ask yourself, when I enter a room is it uplifted by my presence or do I bring the mood of the room down. How about when I enter my own home?

There are many things that can bring us down. Perhaps it’s isolation from this pandemic. Maybe it’s a serious illness that just is emotionally difficult. Perhaps it’s a difficult relationship filled with a lot of tension and stress. It’s tempting to think that we can handle such situations on our own. Instead today let us turn up the Holy Spirit and ask for God’s healing touch. We all accumulate wounds as we go thru life, so don’t get discouraged. Jesus has the power to remove anything that prevents us from being his positive presence to our spouse, family and loved ones. His healing touch is better than a box of candy or bouquet of flowers, although guys they certainly help !

St. Joseph, pray for us !
