Throughout the Bible, God has spoken through dramatic signs.  Gideon saw the morning dew dampen only the ground and not his fleece blanket.  Balaam heard God’s message through a talking donkey.  Noah saw a rainbow in the sky as proof of God’s love.  Peter, James & John saw Jesus transfigured on Mt. Tabor.

I don’t know about you, but I have not experienced any signs such as these, especially the talking donkey !  Yet God is still sending us signs today as proof of his love.  He can be very creative in these signs as he tries to get our attention.  Maybe it’s a strong urging in your heart to call an old friend.  Perhaps it’s a dream that stays with you for a long time after you are awake.  Maybe you run into someone by coincident that you have been thinking about.  Even rays of sun light breaking through the clouds might be a special sign for you.

Some signs are subtle and others are more obvious.

So stay alert !  God will be trying to get in touch with you as the day unfolds.  Keep your eyes, your ears, and your hearts open.  God will do the rest !
