What kind of foundation is my life built on ?  What principles have I built my life around ?  Most people sincerely want to do the right thing. But it can be difficult when we go through a serious crisis as we have seen this year during our quarantine and loss of many jobs. That’s when we need a solid foundation built upon sound Catholic principles.

Do I have a principle of forgiveness ? Do I forgive Unconditionally  like Jesus taught us, or do I simply forgive when and where I feel like it ?

Do I have a principle about not talking negatively about people behind their backs ?  Jesus has a lot to say about kindness.

Do I have a principle about prayer ? Do I pray before eating even when I’m in a restaurant or around strangers .  Do I begin and end my day with prayer ?

Do I have a principle of generosity ? Do I give generously of my time, talent and treasure in building up the kingdom of God here on earth ?

Do I have a principle that says ALL life is to be protected from conception to natural death ?

So what principles have I built into the very fabric of my life ?  Am I on a solid foundation so that when a crisis occurs I do not fall apart !  Or is my life solidly built on rock, putting into practice the things that I a baptized Catholic believe ?
