During his ministry, Jesus did some pretty amazing things. He healed the sick, cured lepers and even brought people back from the dead. Today however as he was transfigured, his three disciples got to see him in all his glory. They heard the Father say that this is my chosen son.

We however get to see him in his glory when we go to Mass. I had a nun in the second or third grade who always told us not to put our heads down but to look when the priest holds up the Eucharist, because it’s our chance to see Jesus. Not only is Jesus present, but then he allows us to consume his Body and his Blood. How awesome is that? When we do so, he is as close to us as he can possibly be in this life.

So whenever you go to Mass, let him show you his glory. As the priest lifts up the Host, imagine Jesus as he was at the Transfiguration. Then kneel down in awe and truly worship him. ! Hear the our Father say to you, “This is my chosen Son, listen to him.”
