Happy St. Joseph’s Day
Everyone has problems in their life. Even St. Joseph had huge problems keeping Jesus and Mary safe. Our problems can involve health, finances, relationships, loved ones and jobs. We need to acknowledge our problems and not try to minimize them for they are real.
We also then need to acknowledge the good news that Jesus brought us, that God really does love me and always forgives me. That God will walk with me through my life journey and that I have a destiny that lasts forever.
This is such “good news”, that overrides all I’m going through. It doesn’t take away my problems, but it gives me a sense of peace in the midst of these problems. God’s peace is something no one can take away. There are times when something happens to me that is so good that it overrides everything else.
The coming of Jesus into my life is one of those things!
