Wow it’s hard to believe it’s October already and over 100 degrees outside.
Today is the feast day of St. Theresa of Liseux. At age eight she was cured from a childhood illness when a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary smiled at her. Just before she reached the age fourteen, she received an image of the child Jesus. She entered the convent at 15 and took her final vows at age 18.
I would like you to meditate on something she wrote for today’s reflection. “You know well enough that our Lord does not look so much at the greatness of our action, not even at their difficulty, but at the love by which we do them !”
