Today is the feast of the Guardian Angels. Today we celebrate the belief that every person has an angel who is available to shepherd their soul through life and help bring them to God. Belief in the reality of angels, their mission as messengers of God, goes back to the earliest times. The concept of each person having a personal guardian angel has long been accepted by the Catholic Church. Jesus talks about these angels in Matt 18:10. We also read about them in Hebrews 1:14.
Pope Saint John XXIII wrote: “Our guardian angel is always present. Let us never forget him and always remember to pray to him.”
Today God wants us all to know how much we are loved. He wants you to trust him and lean on him so he can continue to bless us.  He has even provided you with your own special angel to help you and guide you !
