There are some people in this world who can fly anywhere they want at the drop of a hat.  They can buy whatever they want, whenever they want.  They can pretty much do whatever they want to do.  That’s not the case for most of us.

Yet all of us have been gifted by God with freedom.  In the Beatitudes he tells us how blessed we are.  No matter who I am, how old I am or how young, how sick I am or how healthy, how rich I am or how poor, I can do what God expects of me with the gifts he has given to me. Great and wonderful things are within my reach.

I have been gifted by God.  At my baptism I became a member of his Royal family.  Let us appreciate the gifts we have received and not covet the gifts of those around us.  I know I can do whatever he expects of me with the gifts he has given to me .
