Still helping when avenues are closing…

Our church buildings may be closed but remember that we are the church and we need to remain open! We cannot let fear or anxiety from this terrible virus close us to God’s love. Last week a friend had to close his restaurant of 30 years and go out of business. Even in the midst of this very difficult decision, he donated his food to our homeless ministry and to several shelters. We took all of his dishes to GHH Shelter. He remained open to those in need. What a great example for all of us. Remember those in need and find ways to help them. Remember your parish and keep sending in your weekly donation. Remain open to God’s love even more during these horrific times!

Deacon Doug
