Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
As we prepare to enter into the season of lent we would like to take this opportunity to wish
you a spiritual and fulfilling journey to the glories of Easter. We pray that you will be blessed this
season and that through it you will grow even closer to our Lord and Savior as you go about your
Lenten sacrifices.
It is with this time of reflection and sacrifice in mind that we come to you with a request for
palanca. We would like to request that for one week during lent, that being the week of March 23-29,
you offer any of your Lenten sacrifices as palanca for the Cursillo Movement. We would like to make
this a week of prayer for the National, Regional and Diocesan Cursillo Movements here in the United
States.
